Ok, so the Curley Road reference yesterday was just a joke. (I chose Curley only because I spent my teenage years living on Curley after we moved from Buzzy’s Country Store to a new house that my folks had built on Calvert Creek.)
My initial title for yesterday’s post about Historic Rural Roads was “What About Three Notch?” However, when I did my re-read of what I had written, it sounded a little like I was being critical of the Historic Preservation pamphlet for neglecting to mention Three Notch. You know my approach here (and elsewhere for that matter) always avoid anything controversial when I can do so and go with sophomoric attempts at humor instead. Hence, the “What About Curley” title. (Note that I even debated a sub-title “He was busy with Moe and Larry” but spared you that!))
But hey, all that was yesterday, and today I ‘m here to give Three Notch Road some recognition as well lay the Three Stooges on you!
