Buzzy Visitors

I am forever grateful to and appreciative of any visitors who choose to drop into Buzzy’s. It is nice to see all my close friends on a regular basis. I enjoy keeping up with them and having them be a part of my life. At Buzzy’s, I really don’t have customers as much as I have friends dropping by.

In addition to what I call my inner circle of friends, there is another category of Buzzy visitors that I refer to as “drop-ins.” These are folks who drop in after having been away for awhile, want to check things out and catch up. Of course, I particularly like it when these drop-ins are some of my old, life-long friends and folks whom I have not seen in many years.

Here then are a couple of photos of visitors who recently dropped into Buzzy’s. First up, some McCoys and friends who were down celebrating a couple of birthdays and drinking a couple of beers at Buzzy’s.

L-R: Elizabeth Anderson, Claire Howard, Sarah Adler, Kelowna Otswald, Mark McCoy (Birthday Boy- August 20) Back Row Zane Mass, Kevin McCoy (Nick’s son), Nolan Kopek (Birthday Boy -Aug. 19), Ryan McCoy (Nick’s son), Patrick McCoy (Mark’s Son), Jake Leonard

Note – I featured Mark perviously here on the Buzzyblog (click here.) I am very glad that he, his sons, nephews and their friends all dropped into Buzzy’s. My recommendation is that they make this a birthday tradition – go to Buzzy’s!

Although I missed seeing Tom and Cathy Murphy (below) when they recently visited Buzzy’s, Brian Barnhill took these nice photos of them enjoying themselves in the Store. (Brian did a great job with this first photo showing Granddaughter looking at Grandmom Cathy as if to say “What are we doing here?”)

My note to Cathy and Tom “Sorry I missed you, but thanks for dropping in. I will catch you next time.”

Just now when I filed away these three photo’s alphabetically, the following one of some very special Buzzy “in town” visitors also popped up as part of the M family.

The McKays Chris, Kevin, Kyle, Kim, Kurt, Lindy, Herbie, Shirley, Kayla and Lori

Another frequent out of town visitor to Buzzy’s is my friend Tom Corbett who recently sent me this photo of him rocking his Buzzy Bucket Hat at a golf tournament.

And speaking of visitors to Buzzy’s, there was this flashback visit posted just yesterday on Cecil’s Country Store FB and sent my way by Kayla McKay. Thank you Kayla!

I commented that it must have been Bruno #5 because he did not like motorcycles.

Music-wise, Bernie Taupin will be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in November and very deservedly so. I always think of Buzzy’s Country Store and driving back to it whenever I hear his lyric “Country comfort’s in a truck that’s going back home.”
