I suppose that the robin in spring and the eagle on the 4th of July do get their fair share of attention. However, I am guessing that when it comes to having a whole month’s worth of notoriety, love (well, maybe) and attention, the turkey is the king. Think about it – the whole damn month of November is geared around THE turkey culminating with a huge “feast” day in his honor – literally!
