Some time back, I did a Buzzyblog post on receiving two almost identical condolence cards from Bruce Henry and John Hamill following my Mom’s passing. I mentioned how I didn’t have a photo of the two of them together. Well, as you can see from the above, I managed to take this shot of them when the two of them were both recently in Buzzy’s.
I pass this along now because in the December Buzzy Birthdays’ listing, Bruce will be celebrating his on the 2nd. Other December folks in the Buzzy extended family include my Brother in-law Jerry Taylor on the 7th; Jason Aldridge also on the 7th; Greg Madjeski the 10th; Jimmy Cullison and Steve Raley the 16th; Jerry Kiger and Mike Fenhagen on the 18th; Pat Birmingham 23rd; Josh Ridgell 24th; BJ Gray 27th; Brian Barnhill the 28th; and Bill Holmes on the 29th.
Music-wise, December’s Children was the Stones’ 5th album. For a good song-by-song review of it (click here.) Overall it was not as successful nor critically praised as some of their later albums, but I always enjoyed listening to it particularly their cover of this Larry Williams song She Said Yeah. P.S.
