I am still having a hard time accepting it though. Very sad.
Music-wise, the refrain to this Delbert McClinton song “When Rita leaves, Rita’s gone” has been running thru my mind since I heard the bad news of her passing.
(Please note that it is only the song’s refrain that has been running thru my mind. The rest of Delbert’s song about his Rita leaving, torching his Mustang and sounding a little sketchy overall has absolutely nothing to do with the Rita we all knew and loved.)
