My early morning chore today is to hide the plastic eggs around the back yard for the Grandkids to search for when they come over later today. First I have to fill them with candy and/or money. In typical Buzzy-inspired-fashion, I have a 3-1 candy to money metric that I use as a guide when filling the eggs: candy goes in 3 of them and money in the 4th. This works because my Grandkids are young and would rather have the candy anyway.

Yesterday, as I putzed around in my workshop looking for just where I had stashed the eggs from last year, and getting a little miffed when I couldn’t find them, I wondered “How the hell did eggs get to be in on the Easter thing? What do Easter egg hunts have to do with Christ making a comeback tour?”
