Thanks to JW Raley’s efforts and workmanship, the new Buzzy Counter is in place and open for business. He installed it yesterday morning and it looks great! My thanks to John for all of his hard work on this project.

If you look closely at the top photo here, you will see a smallish, blue colored object in the lower center of the top. This was a knothole in the wood that John filled and in doing so used some blue filler to add some color, which it certainly did. That it is front and center in the counter just means that it is something I will be discussing and explaining forever as folks see and comment on it.

Not a problem and I have been enjoying telling folks that it is Buzzy’s version of a Rorschach test where you can see what you want to see in it.
Thus far, I have had folks suggest to me that it resembles various things ranging from a one clawed crab to Gorbachev’s forehead birthmark:

Someone else suggested that it looks like the Patapsco River and upon checking that out, I can see where it does bear a resemblance to it.

However, I would prefer to say that it looks more like a body of water that is a little closer to Buzzy’s, such as either Harry James or Long Neck Creek.

Regardless, drop in the Store sometime and check it out for yourself. As you do so, lemme know what you think it looks like.
Here is a funny Sunday-go-to-Church-tune for you. Like Buzzy’s Blue Thing, read into it what you will.
