Mid-July so I thought to do a winter scene Buzzy photo to at least make you think cool thoughts. In looking for Brian Barnhill’s iconic snowy day photo of Buzzy’s, I landed on this nicely worded March 2023 item from the Facebook page of the Ridge Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary:

Had XM’s 70’s channel on the other day and as much as I tend to dismiss 70’s music as all disco and fluff, I actually found myself enjoying listening to several great 70’s songs such as Hotel California, Horse With No Name, Hall and Oates tunes etc.
Then again there did seem to be alot of 70’s crap tunes, like the following one, that I put in the “Love ’em but hate ’em” category. Guess I really shouldn’t be so critical because the Knack’s hit tune stayed at Billboard’s Number 1 spot for 6 weeks in 1979.
