Speaking of fairs, my daughter Reagan and her fiance Ben caught Matchbox 20 last week performing at the Washington State Fair:
I asked Reagan if they did the “3 a.m.” song and she said that it was covered early on in their show. Here is an acoustic version of Rob explaining and performing it.
Reagan tells me that she always thinks of me and Jimmy Fallon whenever she hears that song. I was fairly certain that I had done a Buzzyblog post on this somewhere in the past and was pleasantly surprised to find this one from November 2016:
