Hey Joe, Was That You in Buzzy’s Yesterday?

When I saw the truck and horse trailer pull into Buzzy’s yesterday afternoon, my first thought was “Don’t see too many horse trailers pulling into Buzzy’s.”

A minute later, a gentleman came into the Store wearing a cowboy hat and proceeded to look around.

When he finally made it to the counter, I asked what brought him to Buzzy’s and he replied “I just delivered a horse down the road here.” I followed up by asking “From where?” And he said “Annapolis.”

I made some comment that at least he had had a nice ride and he responded by noting “It was a long ride.’

With that, he paid up and left.

Well, guess what? When I consulted that world wide web just now, by typing in “horse transporters,” one of the very first sites to pop up was Equine Express.

As I viewed the following video, I had to smile when I saw that my visitor was none other than Joe McGee the owner of Equine Express out of Pilot Texas. (Note – if this was not my Buzzy visitor, than Joe has a twin running around the country also delivering horses to people.)

I also found this 2018 article on Joe and his business (click here.)

Thank you Joe, for stopping in Buzzy’s! You get the prize for coming the farthest distance to visit us!

Music-wise, there are lots of “Horse songs” out there to choose from; but this one from Chris Ledoux has a little kick to it. (Yeah, I know, lousy pun but best I could do on just one cup of coffee this a.m.)

P.S. My next “mission” will be to find out who it was in Scotland who got the horse. Anybody know?
