As a country we are so very divided. Seems like folks just want to fuss, fight and complain about things that they feel very strongly about. They stake out an opinion or two, and like Tom says (see previous post) they just “Won’t back down.” And you know the type of folks I’m talking about – bird watchers!

OK, so I set you up a little there – sorry and apologies to bird watchers everywhere for lumping you in with all those annoying political agonista’s.
However, I couldn’t help but smile at how a recent post on a FB site for bird watchers generated much to-and-fro about “bird watching ethics,” posting locations of bird sightings, bird watching etiquette etc.. The FB site is a private group of which I am a member, and I have posted some excerpts from it as follows to give you an idea of the discussion that generated some churn:






Music-wise, guess this is as good excuse as any to play my favorite Byrds’ tune. (Note that of the original 5 Byrd members only McGuinn and Hillman are still around.)
