With Santa having done his thing and skedaddled, let’s now look ahead to a couple events on the Buzzy New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day calendars:
On New Year’s Eve, Tuesday the 31st, Buzzy’s hosts a doubleheader as follows:

Hosted by Pam and Pat Birmingham, the Blue Balls’ Ride theory is that you ride the last and the first day of the year. Given that Buzzy’s is quite a hike for most of you to ride to, I’d suggest you pick at least one of those two days to tough it out via a ride to Buzzy’s. (As for the other day, you can just take a short trip around your neighborhood and say that you rode both days. The Blue Balls police tell me that they are ok with that.) Of course, I want and will welcome you at Buzzy’s on both days if you choose to ride there.
If you do roll into Buzzy’s on New Year’s Eve, you could then catch some of our Buzzy’s NY Eve Party action which starts at 4 p.m. (I know the following shows 5 p.m. as a starting time but we will conduct a “soft” drop” of the 10 Ouncer at 4 just to make sure that next time we get it right.

At the Buzzy New Year’s Eve gig, David Norris will be back playing some music for us. As usual, we will have some great food and drink to get you primed for whatever later gig you plan to attend. The beauty of the Buzzy NY Eve party is that it’s over at 9 pm so you don’t have to stay up til midnight to celebrate the start of 2025!
I’ve included the following tune from Bob for two reasons one of which is obvious. But stay with it to see if you can find the second reason. (Big clue – it’s near the end around the 3:48 mark.)
