That Time of Year

Speaking of Holiday Jazz (yesterday’s Buzzyblog post featuring Louie’s “Zat You Santa?”) Cathy and Peggy at Pier 450 have more jazz tunes coming your way this evening courtesy the Groove Span Trio. (For more details (click here.)

Then tomorrow afternoon, you can have some tea at Pier 450 (click here for those details.)

Did you know that the typical tea time in England is at 4 o’clock?

This helps explain Mick’s opening line in “Live With Me” when he sarcastically notes that “I got nasty habits, I take tea at three.” Hey Mick, if you go to Pier 450 tomorrow, you can take it as early as 2!

And after sipping a little tea, swing down to you-know-where for the Buzzy Christmas Party:

You can say – “It’s time for tea and meet the wife” so you can go to Buzzy’s. (Only you really die hard Beatles fans will get that reference (1:33 below.)
