Buzzyblog Twofer Tuesday features a couple of great Christmas cards that Pam and I recently received. First up, there was this one from Caitie and Brady:
Then from Pam’s side of the family, our niece Allie and nephew Danny sent us this great one of them and their son Damian.
Thank you to all of them for such great cards!
Note also how both cards had a background waterfront/nautical theme; hence for a little music today, let’s do some “Yacht Rock.” (Very funny story here as to Donald Fagan’s first reaction to Steely Dan being included in the genre “Yacht Rock” (click here.))
Outstanding guitar solo in this video from Denny Dias (2:15) even if it looks like he is asleep while playing it. Lead singer is David Palmer. Fagan is on the keyboard. His Steely Dan partner Walter Becker doesn’t get much screen time here, but you can see him briefly on bass near the end of the video.
