Twofer Tuesday – Two Shirts Too Much

Just when I thought that my Christmas shirt would be the most eye catching and unique one around at the Buzzy Christmas Party, Bob Williams showed up to “show” me up.

The story behind my Christmas shirt seen here is that I don’t really own any Christmas-themed shirts other than a red Maryland Terps sweat shirt that isn’t really a Christmas outfit even if it is red.

Thus, when I ran into my friend Tom Russell the other day wearing this great Christmas shirt, I couldn’t help but say how much I liked it and tell him that I needed a Christmasy shirt to wear to my Buzzy Christmas Party.

Tom promptly proceeded to take off his shirt and present it to me. No lie, he literally gave me the shirt off his back! (In return, I gave him my flannel shirt that I was sporting at the time.)

Thus, come Saturday evening, I was all geared up for the Buzzy soirée. In fact, I was so geared up that a couple ladies in attendance at the party told me how much they liked my balls. For one of the few times in my service behind the Buzzy counter, I didn’t quite know how to respond to that, I think, compliment!

Clothes make the man right? Thank you Tom.

On that note, here then is Billy and Dusty making their first live T-V appearance on Johnny Carson in 1986. They even got to play two numbers. (Why does Billy remind me of Mike Fenhagen?) Stay or scroll over to the end to catch Johnny in his best ZZ Top disguise/costume. Maybe he was looking for some Tush.
