Thanks to Donnie Poe there are now two of his signs signs in Ridgell possession.
Caitie and Brady commissioned Don to make me a sign for my upcoming February birthday thinking he would need the lead time to knock it out. Turns out Don did it in a couple hours and called Brady later in the day to tell him it was done.
Brady presented me with the following sign approximately 24 hours after first talking to Don about it.
Don then called Brady the very next day to inform him that he had done a sign for him too. Don said it took a little longer because he included the Lighthouse and the different paints he used had to dry.
The irony of all this is that awhile back I visited Jack Bailey in his Senate office up in Annapolis as part of our County’s Beverage Association tour. When I saw the following sign displayed on the wall behind Jack’s desk, I thought “Hey that looks like Donnie Poe’s handiwork. Maybe I should get him to do a Buzzy sign for me.”

Music-wise, speaking of folks named Don, I heard this tune just the other day and it made stop what I was doing just to relax, listen to, think about and enjoy it. Great song for many reasons. See if you don’t think so too.
