Followup to yesterday’s Buzzyblog post on Buzby’s General Store in Chatsworth, New Jersey.
I noted that Buzby’s Store was located in Chatsworth the heart of the Pinelands National Reserve aka “The Pines” or “The Pine Barrens.” My Chatsworth visitor to Buzzy’s Country Store had informed me that local folks in the area where he grew up were often referred to as “Pineys.” Wiki had this to say about them:
