Have not done any rants here on the Buzzyblog in awhile, so how about a mini-one today having to do with air filters and those two women in my life who are way too much into my life. I will explain the air filters in a sec, but first let me deal with the two nosey ladies – Alexa and Siri.
Just the other day I ordered an air filter for our heating and air conditioning unit. Ever since I did so, I now have ads like the following popping up on my MSN screen. (You can see that the PC trackers also know that I am a sports junkie and therefore they click bait me accordingly.)

From a sampling of my Buzzy friends, I am not the only one who has had some intrusive experiences from these meddlesome two gals. Seems that you can not mention anything that they don’t pick up on and then pester you with ads for that product or service. (On the positive side of the ledger, I guess it is nice to know that there are still some women around who are interested in what I have to say!)
And since air filters sparked this little rant, I will continue by asking – couldn’t there be a one sized air filter that fits all units? As it stands, I am currently dealing with 5 different sized filters needed for the units in my Piney Point home.

Throw in another different sized set of filters needed for the Buzzy’s Store heating and air unit and I am currently needing 6 different sized air filters. I cover the gamut ranging from 16 x 16 inch filters up to 30″ x 36″. (The latter (photo below) is for the GEO Thermal unit in our house. That is the one that started all this filter pique as I had to order it on line given that it is not stocked in any of our local hardware stores.)

The Hollies were one of my favorite Brit bands with Bus Stop being right up there as a desert island tune. However, even though their following tune came to my mind just now given the subject matter today, it was never one of my favorites from them. It was just a tad too draggy for a rock n roller from Ridge.
Got to leave you with Bus Stop written by Graham Goudman. There is an interesting back story (click here) as to how Graham’s farther helped him write songs including the opening verse here “Bus stop, wet day, she’s there, I say please share my umbrella.”
