Courtney’s Restaurant continues to be open as usual.
Three great restaurants at the end of Wynne Road. How cool is that?
This US Topo Map lists the Wynne area as Tick Neck Cape.
Enlarging the map shows that they still have the former business name for the current Salt Restaurant/Pt. Lookout Marina listed as Clayton Marina. Not sure why neither Scheible’s nor Davis’/Raley’s/Courtney’s were not also cited; probably something to do with it being a topographic map. In case you are wondering, the red pins are designating the entire area as Tick Neck Cape.
Personal note – after they built a home on Calvert Creek, my folks moved us to the area marked here as Calvert’s Rest. We accessed it via Curleys Road.
