Today I thought to do what I call a “Jackson Pollock” Buzzyblog post wherein I just toss out a bunch of different things.
So, first thing I did was google Jackson on the Wiki site to insert a link into his name (as I did above.) Imagine my surprise to learn that today was his birthday. How’s that for synchronicity or whatever it is you call it when stuff like that happens!

To give you a sample of his work, here is one of Pollock’s most famous paintings No. 5, 1948:

I had planned also to wish Happy Birthday to my Mother-in-Law Stella Aroesty who celebrates turning 93 today. Way to go Stella! (OK, everybody say “Stellaaaaaaa!”)

Then there is this trio of tough looking hombres posing on the newly rebuilt deck that Teeny Boy originally constructed 30 years ago when he lived in Buzzy’s Apartment C. My son Brady recently redid the deck planking and railing as Teeny Boy’s original joist and foundation work was still intact and did not need replacing.

Here is a photo I took of barge work out on the Potomac in front of my house. (It is part of the beach restoration work being done at the Piney Point Lighthouse.) When I am on the phone with son Shea as he drives home after his overnight work shift, I like to send him photos of the river that he grew up and worked on for years before moving to Florida.

Thoughts and talk of snow conjured up these two memes:

Speaking of prepping, as I get ready to get ready to head west next month, I am looking forward to seeing both my girls Ryan and Reagan.
Pam and I will first stop in San Diego where I will get to see and visit with my daughter Reagan shown here with her Niece Lily and Nephew Shawn.

From there having visited my youngest Reagan, Pam and I will continue west to visit my oldest Ryan. (From young to old, that seems to be my given path in life.) I found this photo from my first visit in 2003 to Hawaii with my Dad. Here is Ryan greeting us at the airport.

Musically, give a listen to this tune titled Alberto Balsalm by Aphex Twin serving as the background music for a video showing JP at work. To listen to the 5 minute tune in its entirity (click here.)
This comment attached to the video provides an explanation for the song that I bet you never would have thought of.

My question about Pollock and his art has always been – how did he know when he was done? Re: this Buzzy blogpost “No. 1, 2026” I’m done! And although I am not sure what “spore vibes” are, you are on you are own to find out if you are curious.

I believe the word you were looking for is serendipitous. 🙂
