February began with the Grammy Awards where Chris Stapelton won for Best Country Solo for his tribute to Clint Eastwood (video below.) It marked the 3rd year in a row that Chris has won the Grammy for Best Country Solo. It is also the 6th time that he has won.) Here is a suggestion to the Grammy Gurus – re-name it the Chris Stapelton Award, exclude him from competing and let some other folks win it for a change!)
Although it did not make the list of nominees for this year’s Academy Awards Best Songs, “Bad As I Used to Be” was featured in Brad Pitt’s F1 movie which was surprisingly good. Good enough that it was nominated in the Best Movie category. Oscars are set for 15 March.
