Academy Awards this Sunday and I always look forward to the Best Song category as much as I do the Best Film, Actor, Actress etc. awards.
This year the pre-Awards’ consensus seems to be that the song “Golden” from the animated movie KPop Demon Hunters is certain to win.
Polymarket* lists “Golden” as an 89% betting favorite which sorta amazes me. (To give it a listen to and see what you think (click here.)
IMHO, “Golden” is the least likable of the 5 nominees. But remember, I am old fart music fan still stuck in the 60’s.
I liked this tune from “Train Dreams” which according to Polymarket is voted the least likely to win of the 5 nominees. Oh well, this will not be the first time that I have been out of step with what the Academy picks as their Best Song.

Did someone say insider information? Another new account named “Magamyman” correctly predicted that the Ayatollah would be killed and won half a million bringing the total Polymarket payout to $1.75 million. Talk about Golden!
