Pam and I have enjoyed watching a Sunday night T-V show “Tracker” about a guy who specializes in finding missing family and loved ones. His going fee is $10,000 a pop, but he sure seems to stay busy doing his thing.
As for how accurate all this is vis-a-vis real life trackers/investigators, there was this description of the show from Rotten Tomatoes:

I liked that “enjoyably silly” description. It kind of sums up how I try and keep Buzzy’s rolling along day to day.
And speaking of tracking something, there was this article on how gambling oddsmakers hate tonight’s NFL draft because betting sharpies track all the ins and outs of what players teams are drafting and are able to bet and win money based on having done their homework (click here). “Square money” i.e. that bet by John Q. Public, is not enough to offset what the oddsmakers have to handle from and eventually payout to the sharpies.
All that said, if I were a betting man, I would go with the Ravens picking Vega Iaone just because 4 is my lucky number and Vega has 4 vowels in his 5 letter last name. As for the Commanders, let’s bet that they select Dillion Thieneman just because his name sounds like Theisman as in former Redskins QB Joe Theisman. How’s that for some non-sharpie insights?
Music-wise, I was very sadden to hear about Brother Dave as in Dave Mason passing away at 79 years young. One of my desert island albums would be his fourth one titled simply Dave Mason. Every tune on it is great with his version of All Along the Watchtower being just excellent (click here to hear it.) I know it is borderline sacrilegious to say this, but I think I may even prefer Dave’s version over Jimi’s.
Naw, Jimi’s is still in a class by itself; but Dave’s is right up there imho if for no other reason than you can actually hear him sing the lyrics a little more so than Jimi.
But today, let’s give a listen to another great tune which concludes that album and seems more appropriate with Dave having moved onto that big jukebox up in the sky. (Stay for his last verse (2:30) “Over and over, day after day, life’s precious moments are wasting away. If dreams are the schemes on which futures are made, dream on sweet dreamer until you reach your grave.”) May he rest in peace.
