Today’s Twofer Tuesday actually occurred this past Friday afternoon at Buzzy’s Country Store.
Someone who had just come into Buzzy’s Friday afternoon, asked me what was going on with all the folks in Buzzy’s in addition to my every dayers.
The two groups of folks visiting Buzzy’s were a couple of campers on their way to Pt. Lookout and folks here from California for a St. Mary’s College graduation.
First to roll in were Brooke and her family here to celebrate Brooke’s graduation from St. Mary’s College Saturday morning. Brooke has been in Buzzy’s a couple of times previously so it was nice to have her return and to meet her family. Granddad even purchased a Buzzy hat to take back to the Golden State.
Shortly after Brooke and company had settled in at the Buzzy bar, my camper friends from years ago, Angie, Wayne, Cynthia and Brian rolled in on their way to Pt. Lookout. This would be their first trip back to Pt. Lookout following its closure for the past 3 years. Welcome back campers!
Angie and company paid a return visit to Buzzy’s Saturday afternoon. They all had a good time chilling on the porch and catching up while knocking back some shots and beers.
As for Welcome Back Songs, Kotter is always the first one that comes to my mind. (I even did a Buzzy blog post about it (click here.)) Let’s move on up then to something a little more recent from Ali Gatie and Alessia Cara:
