I heard a hymn sung at a recent funeral that Pam I attended and immediately thought “Oh good, the Prayer of St. Francis.”
However, upon further review, I have since learned that, as with many other articles of faith that I thought I once knew, St. Francis did not write it (click here.) This from Wiki:

Sebastin Temple is credited for transferring the Prayer into a hymn in 1967. He was from South Africa and after converting to Catholicism, became a Franciscan monk. Lots of versions of the tune have been recorded thru the years, but check out Sarah’s cover of it:
