Easter – Then & Now

My Mom loaned me her old photo albums so I can scan in all those photo’s from long ago. Here are 2 of me and my brother Steve one Easter Sunday.  (Note the Coke store sign in the background behind me as I try to prove at a young age that no fence could ever keep me in.  I’m not sure about that striped jacket though Mom.)  Also, note Leola Price’s front porch which along with the rest of her house was later  torn down when the road was widened.  Picture of Steve was taken on the side of Buzzy’s Country Store where Chief Larry now parks his truck.  The steps in the background led onto a porch where the beer walk in box is now situated.  So, who says nothing has changed!
