A visitor to Buzzy’s Country Store just now remarked that it was “a golden autumn day” outside and he was just out and about enjoying the nice weather. Got me thinking about the Van Morrison song with that title. While I remembered the chorus to the song, I had forgotten that in the verses Van is talking about being attacked by two thugs. Beautiful song nonetheless even if it is a little “darker” than I initially thought it was.
