Gary Rue

Gary Rue dropped by Buzzy’s Country Store Saturday to discuss playing some music here later this spring.  (It’s for the 4th Bottom County Hospice Fishing Tournament scheduled for 14 May. This year’s tournament will be held in honor of Buzzy and the post-tournament awards/party will be here at the Store.)
Gary gave me a copy of his CD “American to Me” which I’ve been listening to and enjoying  the past couple days.  To hear a sample,  check out his website click here. I also e-mailed him and asked him to bring me some copies of the CD to sell in the Store. Here’s the nice response I received back from Gary:

I will drop a loaded display off to you of my CD. Thanks for your support.
I have over 30 years of unrecorded songs that I hope to record along with my current writings , God willin. “The Old Lion’s Roar” I wrote when PaPa Jack moved on. I have already started the next CD. I have over 100 tunes written and ready to record. Wish I had more time to do it.
