My youngest daughter Reagan’s birthday is today. I don’t know why but it’s always her birthdays that make me pause when I realize how old she is. I sort of process or accept the birthdays of my three other kids Ryan, Brady and Shea without too much thought about how old they are. When Ryan, my oldest, has one of those milestone birthdays with a 0 or a 5 in it, I’ll catch a gear and think twice about it for a awhile.
However, for some reason, I guess because she is the youngest, Reagan’s birthday always makes me realize that all of my guys have grown up. By extension, I guess it also makes me realize how old I am getting to be! Regardless, happy birthday Reagan!
