Had the Women’s World Cup Soccer game on T-V at Buzzy’s Country Store yesterday. (Good thing that I have two T-V’s so that the NASCAR race could be viewed on the other set.) However, at the end of the soccer game, everyone in the Store was watching the shoot out and cheering the U.S. ladies on. We all let out a collective groan when they folded and the Japanese ladies prevailed.
It was a little bit of a disappointment as someone in the Store commented “get the bomb ready.” However, check out number one sports cynic Steve Czaban’s take on it and you may view it a little differently, even if he does quote Ricky Bobby click here.
