Temple M/Honesty

Did a road trip with my buddy Captain Greg Madjeski yesterday.  While rolling along in the car, he fielded several calls from folks inquiring about going fishing.   I was impressed with his honesty as I overheard him tell folks, “We might be able to catch one fish but I don’t know about two.   It’s pretty bad out there.”
Once off the phone, Greg laughed and said, “I could take their money and take ’em fishing which is what some guys do.  But you go and when they don’t catch anything, they end up pissed.  It’s better to tell them the truth upfront.”
I’m sure there is some bigger life lesson/maxim in that somewhere about always being truthful.  How about a book “All I Ever Needed to Know in Life, I Learned From Fishing”? (Or in this case from not fishing.) Here’s Greg’s website click here.
