Old Photo’s

The most feedback that I receive on the various things I post usually involves my comments on dealing with my jerk neighbor George and how much I hate him.  Folks will laugh and say something along the lines “I got the biggest kick out your blog the other day when you were talking about your neighbor.”  Or they will commiserate with me by saying something such as “I couldn’t believe that your neighbor yelled at your grandkids like that.  He must really be something.”

I know that these folks mean well and believe me I do appreciate the feedback.  However, it secretly pisses me off that George seems to be my most popular Buzzyblog item.  When I think of all the b.s. and poor attempts at humor that I trot out here on a daily basis, it bothers me that George the Asshole may just be my most popular item.  Life ain’t fair is it?  Guess I just need to stop talking about the old coot and wait for him to die.

Good news is though, second to George, the blog items that generate lots of comments and feedback are the old photo’s that I dig out of the Buzzy photo collection and pass along.  Folks seem to get a kick out of seeing these.  So here are a couple more photo’s that document little slices of life at Buzzy’s Country Store.  (See if you can pin point the one thing that all of these photo’s have common – hint: think thirsty!)

Mona, Winkie, Chris, Swoop, Bart, Rufus, Busser, Barbara, Bobby D

That trend setter Tommy Courtney was into the red solo cups long before they became the thing.  (He may still be wearing that same T-shirt though.)
