Speaking of right but wrong way of doing things (previous post) one good thing that The Donald has done via his candidacy for President is to bring the whole immigration issue to the fore front. Of course he’s wrong in how he would resolve it by doing mass deportations but at least he’s got folks talking about it. Unlike some of the other issues facing us, like say drug addiction for instance, immigration is a very solvable problem if we would just sit down and figure it out.
Video below contains a good discussion on the immigration issue including why it takes so long and is so difficult for immigrants to gain legal citizenship. Always think of Bart talking about the trouble and the costs he encountered in getting his wife Gina and her two sons their U.S. citizenship.
