Inundated with “First 100 Days” b.s. (seems more like 100 months doesn’t it?) you probably missed the news that ESPN laid off 100 employees this past week (click here.)
Maryland boy Scott Van Pelt did a nice story on it in the following video. (Never knew that those B’more row house steps were made of marble.)
For me, I have ESPN bookmarked here on my PC and drop in daily to see what the Orioles and Nationals did the night before.
But that’s about it. I no longer even bother tuning into Sports Center, PTI nor Mike nd Mike for my daily sports’ fixes. Don’t know why exactly, but sports in general interests me less and less and hence too my relationship with ESPN has gone south.
Nice knowing you, but it’s time to move on.
