Here is a photo of Mom and Dad visiting one Christmas. As you can see, Ryan wasn’t quite sure what to make of Santa Buzzy as she checked him out.
Brady did not seem to mind too much. But then again, Buzzy had dropped the beard.
For quite a few younger kids their first reaction to Jolly St. Nick is one of fear. Who can blame them? Some fat dude is coming at you dressed in red with a scraggly beard and saying “Ho ho ho.” That’d scare me too if I didn’t know the routine. For a related article on “Santa Phobia” (click here.)
