Sure has been a busy couple months for bridge jumpers as evidenced by the number of incidents that we have had with folks jumping off the Thomas Johnson Bridge (click here for related story.)
My friend Joe Norris relayed this story on his FB page the other day:
Good job Joe. Saving a life is always a good thing to do!
The composer of this song wrote it after hearing from a couple that one of his other songs played on the radio just as their son was about to off himself out in the woods. Hearing the song caused the young man to change his mind. Maybe we should have that song playing on repeat mode at the top of the TJ Bridge.
P.S. Joe has previously played some music for my Buzzy folks and as soon as the weather breaks I plan to have him make a return visit.
