Above is my Fathers Day present from Caitie and Brady. (Note that Brady had installed the new flag while Pam and I were away earlier this month. I took this photo before Governor Hogan ordered that Maryland flags be flown at half mast in honor of the Wicomico County deputy who was killed last week (click here for story.) Gov. Hogan directed that the flags remain at half mast until the trooper is buried this coming Tuesday.)
That Brady installed the flag on my pier as an early Fathers Day present is a little ironic because I had recently come across this card that he and Caitie gave me last year.
I say it is ironic because when I found the card a few months ago, I scanned it and filed it away thinking “I’ll use this on the Buzzyblog.” As for the cards’ three prerequisites of wisdom, patience and a sense of humor, all I can say is “Thank God I had one of those mentioned.” (You can guess which one ha, ha!)
As for the occasional beer, all Dad’s will get one on Buzzy today, so swing by the Store if you are out and about.
