Number 7 Smile sent me looking for Nat’s cover of the tune by that name. What I did not know is that it was initially an instrumental Charlin Chaplin wrote for his silent film Modern Times (click here.) First Nat’s version with lyrics set to the scene and then the original Modern Times instrumental at the movies’ end.
