My thanks to Sandy Sweikar for visiting Buzzy’s Country Store yesterday in memory of Rich Brewer who passed away two years ago. I had not made note of that and should have.
On my computer’s Desktop, I keep the following photo. And even if I did not think of him yesterday, I do think of Rich every time I see this photo that he took at Sandy’s place where he rented an apartment from her. It always makes me a little sad when I see it.
Of all the Beatles’ songs that I have passed along here on the Buzzyblog, don’t believe that I have ever done this one, the second most recorded song of all time (click here.) (In case you are wondering, and Rich’s above photo notwithstanding, Gershwin’s “Summertime” is the most recorded tune of all time.)
