The other day I went looking for a 1939 baseball photo of some of the original baseball Hall of Fame members. I found the photo I was looking for and plan to do a Buzzyblog post on it sometime in the future.
However, today I want to focus on a series of 1939 photos taken by Dorothea Lange wherein she captures two of my favorite pastimes – baseball and hanging out at a local establishment.
Not sure what is going on in this last photo but do like the black fella’s expression as if to say “Why are white people so funny acting?”
