Good to be 24 again right? As we celebrate and look forward to the New Year ahead, pause and think about what you were doing when you were 24 years old. I found it to be a fun little exercise to look back and see what I was up to back then. (For my younger Buzzyblog readers below 24, just wait and some day you will be looking forward to looking back too!)
January Buzzy birthdays include Carol Norris and Sue Norris on 6 January; Chris Bender the 8th; my Bonus Granddaughter Emma Peterson on the 12th; LP Mercure the 13th; Barbara Flatley the 16th; Polock the 19th; Eric Brotherton the 20th; Richard Lepper on the 27th; my Mother-in-law Stella Aroesty the 28th; and Paula Decker on the 29th.
Buzzy’s Country Store is open today and will be visited by some biker folks doing their Blue Balls New Year’s Day ride. Some photos from last year’s New Year’s Day at Buzzy’s. Seems like yesterday.

And since I quoted Little Bob above, he gets the first video of 24. Just maybe the best tune of all time for having the most classic lines in one song. Great lyrics such as “Nothing left to burn and nothing left to prove” “I was livin’ to run and runnin’ to live,” “Never worried about payin’ or how much I owed.” And my very favorite “Wish I didn’t know now what I didn’t know then.” He sums up his middle aged years with this great verse:

Guess we are all older now but still runnin’ against the wind. Happy 24!
