SNL concluded their “50 Year TV Special” the other night with Paul doing his Abbey Road three song medley Golden Slumbers/Carry That Weight and The End.
The entire entire second side of Abbey Road was one long medley with several tunes preceding the final 3 in Paul’s medley.
In “Carry the Weight,” be sure to catch the three guitar solos (4:20.) There was this in the video’s comments section discussing the original recording of these solo’s.
No musical medleys at Buzzy’s but there are lots of verbal ones. Guess one could say “And in the end, the b.s. you take is equal to the b.s. you make.” Or something like that anyway!
