In yesterday’s Buzzyblog post about being up late at night, I thought about “The Royal Order of the Night People” created by famous disc jockey Joey Reynolds. I have previously discussed when I was growing up as a kid at Buzzy’s Country Store how much I enjoyed listening to the Joey Reynolds Show nightly on WKBW out of Buffalo (click here.)) Joey is a big reason for my love and appreciation of things having to do with radio.
When I went looking for an update on how Joey is doing nowadays, I learned that a year ago on 28 Feb 24, he fell out of bed and sustained some very severe head injuries (click here.)
As best I could determine, he seems to have recovered from those injuries (click here for his official website.) He has his own Facebook page (click here) and posted this on it just the other day:

One of Joey’s more famous stunts involved him playing a Four Seasons’ song continuously while on the air. The following account is from Wiki:
Turns out that the tune Joey put on loop was “Sherry.” Here is The Four Seasons’ theme song they recorded for Joey and his show.
