When Chief Larry first brought up creating a Buzzy Podcast, I set about doing some research by checking out current podcasts. For instance, I watched several podcasts/interview shows by Joe Rogan, Bill Maher, Conan O’Brien, Howard Stern and various other folks to see what formats they used, how their mics were positioned, what camera angles they used, how they organized their interviews with guests etc.. I considered it my podcasting homework.
In doing so, I came upon the following from Barbara Gaines who was David Letterman’s producer for several years. Here she is with Dave talking about the D-man.

Note – since the first Buzzy Podcast went off fairly well and we have received several nice comments from folks, Chief Larry has agreed to film a second one. This time around, Larry will be doing his Spielberg-directing-thing from behind the camera, while I talk with Brian Barnhill. Should be fun. Look for it sometime next week.
