Following up on Donnie Hammett’s ghost discussion from yesterday, let’s talk about the two photos that he mentioned towards the end of our interview at 16:45 (click here.)
Donnie referenced the Nancy Stallings and Pat Birmingham ghost photos (below.) I have discussed these in a couple of previous Buzzyblog posts e.g. (click here.)

Good article here on Nancy and the above photo (click here.)
Nancy’s photo was taken by her husband Ron. Pat Birmingham’s was taken by his wife Pam.

Following my interview with Donnie, he sent me the following text and photo:

I enlarged it as follows:

I forwarded Donnie’s comments and his ghost photo to Pat for him to review. Pat texted me back: “I can tell you that Pam and I do not know how to do that. Very interesting.”
The appearance of ghosts in photos is something paranormal researchers refer to as “spirit extras.”

Spirit photography has had a long and sometimes controversial history (click here for more info.)
All the talk of photography aside, I have heard enough Pt. Lookout Lighthouse ghost stories thru the years to believe that that place is indeed haunted.
The Lighthouse is open everyday for you to visit with your camera in hand. Suggest you grab some photos and check them over to see if you too have any unexpected subjects in them. If any should appear, who you gonna call?
Musically, how about another spooky tune from the Ghostbusters soundtrack. Nice instrumental here featuring Sigourney Weaver as Dana. One commenter described it as “hauntingly beautiful.” I think he was talking about the song, but I could say the same about Sigourney. Always liked her in whatever she appeared in, even in what was considered to be her worst movie Deal of the Century. Here is “Dana’s Theme” from one of her best movies Ghostbusters. (For a funny story as to how she got the role of Dana click here and scroll down to Number 3.)
