Hanging Around

Just finished reading Grisham’s Sycamore Row which featured a hanging or two in ole Mississippi.  So naturally I got things in trees on my mind as I’m driving to and from Buzzy’s Country Store.  I couldn’t help but notice that our own strange fruit hanging from trees involves several plastic bags such as this example I spotted just below Baden’s Rod and Reel.

There are several other examples around if you take the time to check them out.  There’s even a Facebook site (click here) on the subject, which begs the question – what is there now that doesn’t have a Facebook site?

However, back to Grisham’s race-based story, here is the original, non-plastic version of Strange Fruit.
