She had not been in Buzzy’s Country Store for awhile so of course I was happy to see her walk thru the door. As she approached the counter, I noticed that she had something in the side of her nose. I came around the counter to greet and give her a hug and it was then that I noticed that she had a diamond in the side of her nose.
As I hugged her, I secretly thought “This would make for be a great Weird Al Yankovic song parody “Diamonds in the Side of Her Nose.”
We chatted and caught up and as we did so our conversation turned to concerts that we had been to recently. Imagine my surprise when she told me that she had attended a Paul Simon concert and had really enjoyed it. I started to ask her if he played “Diamonds on the Soles of Her Shoes.”
However, I did not do so probably because I knew I might start laughing and tell her my Weird Al idea about the diamond in the side of her nose. Then again, I could have said “ooo ooo ooo” and have everyone know exactly what I was talking about. Sing ta na na.
