Piney Point Lighthouse has an open house this weekend with no charge to tour the Lighthouse, the Keepers’ Quarters, Museum or Maritime Building.
It is all part of National Lighhouse Day which is set for 7 August.
As for Point Lookout Lighthouse unfortunately it still remains closed. The area around it is open to the public but no access is allowed into the building itself. For some great photo’s taken at Pt. Lookout (click here.)
