Seattle Post Script

Note: When Brady and I completed our attending all of MLB’s stadiums back in August of this year, I discussed it here and here in prior Buzzyblog posts. However, I also wrote the following about it back in August, but for some reason never hit the Buzzyblog publish button. Here it is only a couple months late.

All totaled Brady and I spent a very active 30 or so hours in Seattle as we got there Thursday afternoon at 3 p.m. their time and left Saturday morning @ 6 am. While there we attended two ball games, hit the Space Needle, toured Pike’s Market, did an Underground Seattle tour and checked out the Edgewater Motel. (If you’ve never heard of Edgewater, then you’ve got that to look forward to because I’ll clue you in on that in a future Buzzyblog post.)

The only downside or negative aspect of our visit is that the Orioles got trounced by a hot Mariners’ team that is currently the hottest team in MLB having won 8 in a row.

Some photos I took (save for the Pike Market one by Suzi-pratt.)

Us At Mariners’ Lumens Field. (Note Behind Us The Couple Whom I Will Discuss in a Later Blogpost)
Seen ‘Em All

As always, my thanks to Jennifer, Brian, Lisa, Karen, Terri and Chris for keeping Buzzy’s operating at its usual best-country-store-in-the-world pace.

P.S. Note too that eventually I did blog about that couple seated behind us (click here.) Funny thing though, while at the game I never turned to see what they looked like and hence I described them in the blogpost as sounding older than they actually appear to be in the above photo.

Speaking of things not being what they appear to be, supposedly Paul wrote this song and dedicated it to George whom he said influenced him in writing it. I always like these seemingly upbeat and bouncy songs that lyrics-wise are kinda dark and have a little bit of an edge to them.
